We are proud to announce that our CRYO XC™ Cryochamber is now equipped with Thermal Contrast Cryotherapy Mode. We have introduced the new CRYO XC™ Thermal Contrast Cryotherapy Chamber at FIBO 2019 in Cologne, Germany.
Thermal Contrast Mode is an innovative method of applying whole-body cryotherapy treatments with extremely cold temperatures along with a unique heating feature. This feature increases the beneficial effects of the Cryo session with an even more intense experience.
Benefits of Thermal Contrast Cryotherapy
Additional warming of the body for 3 to 5 minutes with up to +50°C / +120°F prior to a session opens skin pores, which promotes blood circulation. Not only does the client feel more comfortable, but it also increases the effectiveness of the treatment. The onset of the cold influx vascular reaction is stronger and the positive effect of the cold can fully unfold.
What are the advantages of using Thermal Contrast Cryotherapy Mode?
1.Safety
This mode brings additional safety to the end customers owing to the fact that it further reduces the low possibility of frostbite risks associated with cryotherapy to a minimum. Thanks to a couple of minutes of up to 50 °C / +120°F prior to the cryotherapy session, clients that are not regular users of cryotherapy do not have to drop to extreme temperatures to experience a full session. Thermal Contrast Cryotherapy Mode also intensifies regular sessions for more experienced cryotherapy goers. Some clients may also use this feature to dry off moisture from the skin surface before the freezing temperatures burst in.
2. Maintenance
All cryotherapy chambers have to be dried at the end of the workday. This is done to maintain their functionality and protect from any negative effects caused by a layer of ice constantly building up inside the cabin. The more sessions done per day, the longer the cabin needs to dry at the end of a working day.
But thanks to the Thermal Contrast Cryotherapy Mode you can cut the time needed for drying by half. That means your business can spend more time doing sessions and making money.
